ESTABLISHING CLEAR AGREEMENTS ABOUT ACTIONS

Good agreements for follow-through depend on the client’s becoming clear about what she wants to do, how, and when. Her willingness is a logical outcome of the coaching process summarized by the three basic Investigator questions: “What’s the situation?” “What do you want?” and the final, practical, and concrete, “What are you going to do?” If the client has developed answers to this final question, with help from the three sharpener Voices (Reflector, Teacher, Guide), the Contractor’s work on follow-through is already half done.
