After you have taken the photograph, the process is not yet complete. You still need to realize your intent and vision. Most photographers define a workflow that involves some measure of both camera work and post processing on your device, computer, or in the darkroom. For me, the ratio is around half and half between what can be realized in the camera and what elements of visual expression are furthered and interpreted with imaging software.
