When to Run an Emulator, Multi-Boot, or Use Multiple Computers
Emulation is one of several possible solutions when you need to run multiple OSs. Each option has certain strengths and weaknesses:
VMware— VMware is a good way to gain access to software designed for one OS when running another. It can also be a great way to test software or configurations before using them in your regular OS installation.
