For this particular case study, I talked directly with Richard Soley, the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Object Management Group (OMG) and the executive director of the SOA consortium. The OMG is a community around the support and creation of software standards. The value of its shared activity is that the members of the community and their companies get value from the openness of the standards.
