Step 3: Create Your Ad

When you create a display ad, you need to be aware of not only the marketing aspects of the ad (the branding, CTA, etc.), but also its physical dimensions. You will need to create your ads so they meet the specifications of the websites where you plan to post them. Each website has its own preferences and guidelines for the kinds of ads they will and won’t accept. These preferences and guidelines are usually listed in the site’s media kit, and they usually follow IAB standards.
