Achieving Great Focus in Video
As I mentioned in chapter 5, AF and video don’t mix well in DSLR cameras. Unfortunately, your camera’s Live View AF system isn’t up to the task of reliably tracking subjects. Perhaps future DSLR video systems will have improved AF technology, but until that day comes, you’ll need to master some additional gear if you want to focus well when you shoot video (figure 6-1).
