13. Shape, Blend, and Mesh
In this chapter you’ll learn how to use the Shape Builder tool, an interactive tool that creates new shapes from overlapping shapes—it acts like a Pathfinder panel (Chapter 12) built into a brush. It also acts as a paint bucket to color areas and strokes of shapes.
And you’ll love the Blend tool. It blends the color and shape of two or more objects.
You won’t be able to live without the Mesh tool, which creates objects with sophisticated and complex color shading.
You’ll also learn about (and love) Graphic Styles, a convenient time-saving feature that applies collections of settings and effects to an object all in one fell swoop.
