Just as ebooks are changing the way we interact with books, streaming video is changing the way we consume TV shows and movies. With the NOOK Tablet, B&N introduced the hardware in terms of processor speed to handle streaming video content, providing preloaded Netflix and Hulu Plus apps.

HD or Not HD?

You may see in some places that the NOOK Tablet plays HD video. Just a warning: This is not technically true. The NOOK Tablet can play HD video by rendering it down at a non-HD resolution.
