Your NOOK has many features that enable you to easily customize it and make it your own. There are also many settings that control how your NOOK operates. In this chapter, you examine how to customize and configure your NOOK.
Using Custom Wallpaper
You can customize your NOOK by using custom wallpaper images. Wallpaper appears on the Home pages when you are on the Home screen. (One image appears on all five pages.) Basically, it’s the background that you always see when you press the Home button, so something nice is desirable. You also encounter the term live wallpapers, which are images that change over time, for example, a set of waves that a whale comes riding through.
