So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Although your NOOK has many unique features and capabilities, its primary purpose is for reading ebooks and other content. One of the benefits of owning a NOOK is that you can carry a complete library with you everywhere you go. If you don’t have your NOOK with you, you can also read your ebooks on your PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android phone, or Android tablet.
Various forms of content are available to read on your NOOK—NOOK Books and other EPUB files, along with PDFs; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files; and plain text files.
