Faux Tarnished Brass Mirror Frame
My local discount store had some tacky gold picture frames. They looked super cheap, but I knew that the detail they had would look absolutely beautiful if I SPiT them and accentuated the design. I decided that this frame needed to look like it was old and tarnished by time. Let me show you how I transformed this cheap plastic picture frame into a Victorian-style tabletop mirror by doing a quick antiquing technique. Don’t feel limited to do this on plastic. You can do this on any sealed item that you want to give an antiqued look. This project was so easy to do that it really is instant gratification.
