When the International Olympic Committee held its 129th Session before the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus presented a keynote address on the subject of entrepreneurship. While this marked a step in a new direction for a global organization whose traditional theme has been “sports, education, art,” the new focus on entrepreneurship was both timely and a sign of things to come.
