Overview

The Operating Plan makes the jump from philosophy to reality. It is a commitment to get the job done very quickly. It’s quantifiable and it’s concrete. And there is no question how to determine whether you’ve reached it. It takes the goals that make up the Strategic Plan and breaks them down into subgoals that are short-term oriented. Subgoals are divided into activities that are assigned to individuals. Things begin to happen fast once you know exactly where you want to go and have a “roadmap” on how to get there.
