I began 2004 the way I started every year, trying to learn from the past and turn my mistakes into lessons. I told myself that I would give Minyanville twelve months to succeed, or it would leave a legacy as a seven-figure hobby that emptied my bank account.
We built a stable of writers, respected professionals such as Tony Dwyer, Scott Reamer, Kevin Depew, and John Succo, who shared their insights online with “Minyans” around the world. They didn’t do it for the money—I couldn’t afford to pay them—they wrote because they believed in effecting positive change through financial understanding.
