11. Printing Options
Introduction
HOW WILL YOU PRESENT YOUR PAINTER ARTWORK to the world? Will it be as a limited-edition digital painting, printed on archival paper by a print studio or service bureau, and then matted, framed and hung on a gallery wall? Or as an illustration in a magazine, where it’s part of a page layout that’s output direct-to-plate, to be printed on an offset press? Or as a desktop color print? For each of these and other output options, there are things you can do to prepare your Painter file so the output process runs smoothly. We hope the tips that follow will help you as you plan your own project.
