Reduced work hours may create the family-friendly work alternative you need. A shortage of time challenges most working families, and a reduced-work schedule could potentially lessen time-related stress. Obviously, however, a reduced-hour schedule results in reduced pay. Many parents cannot sacrifice the financial benefit of working full-time.
However, if you only want full-time work for financial reasons, you may want to spend some time evaluating your financial situation and calculating the cost savings of working part-time.
