■ Activities

are small parts of a process usually performed by a single department or individual.

■ Business Case

captures the reason for initializing a project or program. It is most often presented in a well-structured written document, but, in some cases, also may be in the form of a short verbal argument or presentation.

■ Business Case Analysis

is an evaluation of the potential impact of correcting a problem or taking advantage of an opportunity on the organization to determine if it is worthwhile investing resources to correct the problem or take advantage of the opportunity.
