3. PhotoForge2: Getting Started
PhotoForge2 is a more advanced version of the PhotoForge app covered in the first two chapters of this book. Additional features such as layers, IPTC, GPS info, to name just a few, are complemented by a totally new user interface. I’m working with version 2.1.91—the latest available at this time but, as always, updates and changes are possible at any time.
If you’ve purchased this book, I’ll assume that you’ve already installed PF2 on your iPad. If not, it’s readily available from the App Store. Version 2 is a universal app, so you’ll be able to install it on any device running iOS 4.2 or later.
