POSING PITFALLS
Posing is an art form. A pose can allow us to communicate the mood of the subject through body language. A pose can be used to flatter your subject by highlighting their strengths while downplaying any “weaknesses.” Because there are so many variables in posing, you have a lot to think about when clicking the shutter.
Unfortunately, small details can ruin an otherwise beautiful pose. These problems can be unflattering to your subject or create distracting elements for the viewer. No matter how many poses you try to memorize or how beautiful your subject, the shots will be ruined if you don’t pay attention to some common posing pitfalls.
