Luminar is a nondestructive editor, as I’ve mentioned before, which means the original photos are not actually touched when you work with them. The image files on disk are the same as when you imported them from your camera, while the edits you make exist as saved commands in Luminar’s Catalog.
To use any edited photo outside of Luminar, you need to export it in order to create a new version that incorporates all the adjustments. Most often you’ll export the image as a file to your disk. Luminar also supports sharing directly to SmugMug and 500px, sending an image to your system’s mail application, or, in the macOS version, sending via the Messages app.
