The first part of this chapter focuses on the process of assembling your brushes and paint, and mixing colors. Then you’ll explore some exciting brushes in both Photoshop and Painter. You’ll gain experience with using the default brushes, combined with a pressure-sensitive tablet, and discover the unique capabilities of each brush. This experience will be helpful when you work through the drawing and painting projects in the following chapters, and also when you create the custom brushes in later chapters.
