5. Editing Images in Camera Raw
Adobe Camera Raw is an image-editing application that comes with Photoshop. You can accomplish many of the same editing tasks in Camera Raw, such as cropping, adjusting the tone, and sharpening. The interface is simpler, and in some cases, you may be able to make all the changes you need in Camera Raw, without ever opening Photoshop.
It’s called Camera Raw because the utility was designed to work with raw image files, which contain unprocessed picture data from the digital camera’s sensor. Not all cameras can capture images in raw format, but most recent digital cameras can.
