8. Merging Photos

You can work with more than one photo at a time. In fact, that’s where a lot of the fun is. There are many reasons you may want to combine two or more images. In addition to creating collages, you can merge photos to replace the background of an image, create a panorama, or use the best aspects of multiple group shots. You can also merge images with multiple exposures to reveal all the shadow and highlight details, and you can use a similar technique to increase the depth of field.

Adding Layers from Other Images

Dragging a layer from one file into the image window of another is remarkably easy. When you do so, Photoshop adds the content to a new layer in the destination file.
