6. Editing with a Guide
Sometimes you know what you want to do, but you’re not quite sure how to go about it. Depending on your goals, Guided Edit mode may be the best way for you to get there.
Not all the guided edits, as Adobe calls them, include that much guidance. Sometimes you actually have more information using a quick fix to accomplish the same thing. That’s true for sharpening and some of the lighting changes. Where guided edits really shine are when you’re performing more complex or confusing tasks, such as adjusting levels.
Some of the guided edits include Auto options, so you can see how default changes would affect your photo. Many include sliders, as well, but they do not have the preview options that the quick fixes do. ...
