4 CREATIVE MODES AND FEATURES
Up to this point, I’ve been telling you how to use the LX100 and how to set it up to do things you may already be familiar with. In this chapter we’ll get more creative and look at features that are unique to the LX100.
RAW, JPEG, or Both?
The LX100 can output photos that are processed in the camera as JPEG files or output the full sensor data as a RAW file (with a file extension of .RW2). The RAW file contains much more data, so if you’re planning to edit your images later in the computer, I recommend saving the RAW versions of your images.
