CONTRACT ANATOMY

If you want to draw an awesome superhero, you must have a firm grasp of human anatomy. If you want to build a Formula One race car, you have to have a solid grasp of an engine’s anatomy. Well, contracts have their own anatomy as well. And just as a mechanic will hoist an engine block out of a car in order to tinker with it, we’re going to hoist up a sample contract to see how it works.

In the head or opening of the contract, we meet the parties, special words are defined, and the duration of the contract is set out.
