Colors Don’t Always Have to Contrast
Color contrast is often the best way to show off color and use it effectively in an image. But it isn’t the only way to use color. Sometimes colors look great when there are no color contrasts. Nature is filled with such color and you can create beautiful images rich in color with them. There are some things you need to watch out for, because such images can also be flat and boring. You have to find the right balance.
Photos that feature similar colors are much mellower than those with color contrasts. Some people may find that they are less lively, too. But on the other hand, you might also find them restful and peaceful.
