Chapter 8. Upgrading Capabilities

Capability is not the same as performance. The difference between competence (the ability to achieve) and the actual achievement or accomplishment itself is usually determined by the attitude we have toward the use or application of our ideas or skills. There is relationship between competence and performance, but only when competent people achieve goals. Competence without results is worthless.
