Our project business management methodology model is based on the PMI^®’s PMBOK^® Guide, which has become the de facto standard for managing individual projects, and PMI’s new A Standard for Program Management, and A Standard for Portfolio Management. It is logical therefore that a project management competency model should also be based on another PMI^® Standard, the Project Management Competency Development Framework (PMCDF).
