15.3. User Interface?
The PBMIS main user interface provides a brief overview of each portfolio, program, and project and allows the user to easily navigate the overall system. The user interface (some call it a dashboard) is composed of a main screen, related web screens, and associated data entry and data display screens. Budget, commitment, accrual, schedule, forecast, and progress data are entered manually. The user has the capability to filter (select) the data using specific components of the EWBS and to sort the data alphanumerically. The system also provides for the manual entry of cost accrual data through the dashboard.
