Value Defined
Value can be defined as anything a customer is willing to pay for (1). Merriam-Webster defines value as ‘a fair return in goods, services, or money for something exchanged.’ From a leadership perspective, what does value really mean? Is leadership value the ability to tell good stories and play politics? Is value in leadership a great resume with industry leading credentials? Does high value for leaders correlate with the ability to implement large scale change successfully? Can a leader be seen as a high value contributor if they save the organization money?
