#1 SUSTAIN A POSITIVE MINDSET (EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.)

If you want to become the best version of yourself, you have to be positive.

I try to live up to this ideal because, ultimately, you can't expect your people to stay positive if you yourself are always pessimistic. From my experience, one of the biggest challenges is sticking to it every day and remaining positive no matter what. When you have bad days and it seems like everything is going wrong, it's easy to be negative, but it's so difficult to maintain an optimistic outlook.

So how do you sustain a positive mindset every single day, even on the hard days?

You fake it until you make it.

This means that on tough days when nothing is going your way, smile. Put on your favorite music. Go outside and get some fresh air and sunshine.

Even if you woke up today in a crappy mood, if you take these actions, they will take you from fake positivity to genuinely feeling better on the inside and the outside. Never forget that you have control over your attitude, and the actions you take will make or break a positive mindset.

So, choose positivity every day. And if you have to, fake it until you make it to get through the most difficult days. Your team will pick up on your energy and emulate it because positivity breeds positivity.
