Understanding the Scenario Voting Process
The definition of tasks, features, use cases, user activities, and scenarios differs from organization to organization. For the purpose of clarity, the focus here is on the user and how users manipulate the software application. Although it can encompass one or more features or use cases, the user activity dictates the start and finish of a scenario. A certain feature may provide a range of functionality to the user, but a scenario links specific functionalities together to accomplish a task. For example, a feature of the operating system may allow sound to be played from the PC speaker, but the scenario is “play music on your PC” or “adjust the volume of the PC speaker.”
