The success of your presentation lies in your ability to put together a relevant, understandable audience focused piece of communication before you stand up to present it.

This vital skill, the ability to make data understandable, relevant and digestible, is one that is being overlooked in presentations today. I find presenters are so busy trying to stand out, trying to do something quirky or funny or impactful that they are missing the point of presenting.
