Abstract:
Thailand has seen significant economic growth and poverty reduction in recent decades, yet poverty and income inequality persist. The Kingdom of Thailand has recently experienced considerable political instability, although there has been a surprising amount of social stability. Thailand’s cultural environment has been heavily influenced by its main religion, Theravada Buddhism, and this influence is also seen in the business practices used by firms in the Kingdom.
