Abstract:

The country of Myanmar/Burma has had one of the least successful economies in the world and poverty is widespread. Economic sanctions have been imposed on the country by many Western countries which has contributed to limiting integration of the country’s economy with the global economy. Many changes are currently happening in the country which leads to optimism for the future and may create new business opportunities.
