All special events have a great deal in common with theatre. Both have audiences, lighting, audio, décor, scenery and performers. Scripts are often used, and sometimes even costumes are a big part of the evening. There is no doubt that corporate and special events contain elements of theatre, and a good production manager is essential to the overall success of the event.
