9 Continuous Improvement Never Stops

Many organizations treat the introduction of Scrum and complementary practices as a project with a start and an end. They hope that they can “implement” Scrum and, once it is implemented, deliver value faster, more reliably, and in higher quality.

These organizations don’t understand that Scrum is not a tool that can be installed and then used; Scrum’s intent is to create a system and culture of continuous improvement that enables the organization to continuously change and adapt on the basis of feedback. The important aspect of continuous improvement is that it happens continuously. There is no end to improvement.
