Introduction

There are many good books about Scrum. Most of them focus on one specific aspect, such as the Scrum Framework or the specifics of a Scrum role. Others explain a specific tool or practice, such as User Stories, that make working in Scrum easier.

Many of these books are excellent, but we have found that none of them really prepares people for how their day-to-day work will change when they are a member of a Scrum Team. Our intent in writing this book is to convey that day-to-day experience and to provide you with the insights you will need to become a better Scrum Team member.

Purpose of This Book

This is a book for people working on a Scrum Team. The Scrum Guide is right: “Scrum is simple to understand, but difficult to master.” ...
