What is this about and why is it important?
The term project management is hard to define in a meaningful, non-contentious, concise and helpful way. There are many existing definitions, but they usually miss out important aspects, are too generic, convoluted, or give the wrong impression. Other definitions reflect writers’ specific biases. This is possibly because project management is a broad and evolving concept. But we should try to find a shared definition if we are going to discuss the subject.
