What is this about and why is it important?

Most project managers and project team members have presented a well-thought-through project plan, only to get the response from sponsors and customers – can’t you do it any quicker? Looking from the opposite direction are sponsors and customers who have reviewed a project roadmap and felt it meets their requirements except for the time the project will take.
