To manage projects a project manager must understand what she should be managing, have a mechanism to provide information to understand when management action is required, and finally implement action when the information tells her it is necessary.
THIS CHAPTER LOOKS AT THE CORE DAILY WORK required of a project manager on a live project – actually managing the project. It may be surprising to some readers therefore that this is one of the shortest chapters in the book.
