Accountability What you can count on a person doing. That person and only that person can be called to account if something they have accountability for is not done.
Activity Individual components of work that must be undertaken to complete the stages of the project. Each activity should be defined in terms of its start and end dates and the name of the person accountable for its completion.
Approval The term used when an individual accepts a deliverable as fit for purpose such that the project can continue.
Assumption An assumption is made when an unknown is taken to be a fact. Assumptions can be tested using sensitivity analysis and often pose a risk to a project.
