To this point, we have primarily examined the different processes that happen outside of the theatre. There are a number of things that must be done inside of the theatre, however, before the show is ready for an audience. From installing the video system to testing the equipment, programming the show, and going through the tech process, this process includes a lot of steps in a short period of time. The following chapter discusses the different steps of the pre-production process, from loading in the equipment to opening night.
