Most of the documents used in the preparation of this history are in the holdings of the NSA/CSS Records Center and Archives and the Center for Cryptologic History. A diverse number of sources originated these holdings, which reflect a broad range of departmental, national, and operational relationships extending over this period of cryptologic history.
