Sounds like a strange directive, given that this whole career could be construed as a search for good light. But I love the rain and have written about the benefits of getting wet while shooting before. I visit it again here because, well, the rain rocks.
Take a cool urban environment, like Tokyo, and mix in a good rainstorm, and you’ve got Blade Runner.
It can be uncomfortable, but when is the pursuit of good pictures comfortable? The rain transforms drab concrete into a slickly reflective, visual playground.
