The art of remixing, while it does have many similarities with production, differs in a few ways, one of which being the extremely tight deadlines. As such, anything that can be done to speed up the process can be a huge help. Most modern DAWs allow you to save and use multiple templates. I have already touched on this briefly, but I will expand on it here and give a few examples of different possibilities, depending on your preferred way of working.
