INTRODUCTION
A full look at all the different effects plug-ins (and hardware units) available would take up this whole book, given that effects developers have an everincreasing range of effect ideas to empty our bank accounts on. Instead, I will focus on just the more common and useful ones. In this chapter, to conclude our look at effects, we consider distortion and amp-simulation effects, saturation type effects, and filter effects.
