CHAPTER 23 Remix Walkthrough: Fine Tuning

 

 

After a good night’s sleep and plenty of rest for my ears, I loaded up the remix and the first thing I did was put on my headphones and take a listen at a medium volume. The reason I chose my headphones was because I find them very useful for working on the finer points of the mix in most cases. The only areas where my headphones, and headphones in general, tend to be a little misleading are in judging the bass levels accurately and in judging panning positions and stereo width.
