A commitment to a respectful workplace becomes part of the fabric of an organization’s culture. The greatest leverage to shape and influence culture exists at the top of an organization. Individual contributors, supervisors, and midlevel managers pay careful attention to how their senior leaders act and behave. Then, depending on their own aspirations, one of two things happens.
